In reality, we were on the brink of re-homing Lily, but decided to try Andrea’s training- If I had not seen it with my own eyes, it would be hard to believe! In addition to providing Lilly with her needed jobs, Andrea helped support the family in learning how to effectively give commands and feedback that would perpetuate Lilly’s trained behavior. During the training week, she sent us updates and pictures of Lily’s activities. A few weeks after the board and train week, Andrea followed up with us to ensure everything was going well. Andrea came to us at a critical time in our lives, and our family cannot say enough of her skills or her help…not to mention, Lily loves Andrea like she was family.

We could not take him in the car as he was constantly barking at pedestrians and people on bikes and we could not have people visit in our home unless he was locked in another room and then he would bark incessantly. Andrea’s firm, but loving approach has gotten him to the point where we can now take Jasper in the car, where he lays quietly, and he is learning to be able to be around people and can be walked on the Causeway. Andrea understands his fears and has been able to help Jasper learn to “make better choices” in his behavior and her approach has given him confidence, which has reduced his fears. Jasper is a sweet and loving dog with our family and since working with Andrea, he is beginning to be able to be that sweet, loving dog with others as well.
